Lab Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Lab Manager to oversee daily laboratory operations, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and support plant operation, research and development activities.

Key Responsibilities:

1.     Lab Operations & Maintenance

a.      Supervise and coordinate daily lab activities, ensuring smooth operation

b.     Maintain lab equipment, schedule regular maintenance, and troubleshoot technical issues

c.      To assist and propose to management to achieve for the requirements of accreditation lab

d.     Oversee inventory management, procurement, and storage of lab supplies

2.     Safety & Compliance

a.      Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations

b.     Develop and implement lab safety protocols and conduct training sessions

c.      Maintain accurate documentation and records of lab activities

3.     Team Management & Training

a.      Supervise lab staff, including chemists and researchers

b.     Provide training on lab techniques, equipment usage, and safety procedures

c.      Manage work schedules and ensure productivity within the team

4.     Research & Development Support

a.      Assist in experimental design, data analysis, and reporting

b.     Collaborate with chemists and researchers to improve lab workflows

c.      Ensure proper documentation of research finding

5.     Budget & Resource Management

a.      Develop and manage the lab budget efficiently

b.   Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality and compliance

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor's/Master's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biomedical Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.

· years of experience in laboratory management or a related role.
