Role Purpose:

Drive the deployment, maintenance and enhancement of scalable, high-performance infrastructure using cloud technologies, while collaborating with multiple teams for effective integration, providing technical leadership, and ensuring system reliability, security, and performance to deliver business line objectives.

In this role you will:

• Drive the deployment, maintenance and enhancement of scalable, high-performance infrastructure components which include Kubernetes clusters, database clusters, monitoring stacks, CICD platforms, networks and firewalls to ensure high reliability, security and cost efficiency of the platforms.
• Supervise and guide the development of documentation across multiple teams to ensure consistency and support effective onboarding.
• Supervise and guide the development automation script, CICD pipelines and re-usable Terraform or GitOps modules to improve developer experience and ensure safer and faster delivery.
• Lead the development process for multiple teams by establishing guidelines and ensuring adherence to coding standards to maintain consistent code quality.
• Facilitate communication with stakeholders and team members to manage expectations and feedback, ensuring project requirements are met and business line goals are achieved.
• Train and mentor multiple teams by provide high-level guidance to influence team practices for better professional skills in business goal delivery.
• General Responsibilities: All employees are required to ensure adherence to the compliance of company policies, industry regulations and legal requirements. All employees are expected to assist with tasks, projects, and other duties related to the role, as and when deemed necessary.

You're a great fit if you have:

• 8+ years of experience in site reliability engineering or software engineering.
• Strong bias for action with proven ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in version control systems (VCS) like Git.
• Expertise in cloud technology especially AWS services.
• Expertise in containerisation technology such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Expertise in NoSQL, SQL, event, queue and cache databases such PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Kafka, RabbitMQ and Redis.
• Expertise in infrastructure as code (IaC) and CICD technology such as Terraform, ArgoCD and Argo Workflows.
• Advance proficiency in monitoring technology such as Vector, Loki, Tempo, OpenTelemetry, VictoriaMetrics (Prometheus) and Grafana.
• Advance proficiency in networking and security especially around load balancing, firewall, encryptions.
• Proficiency in cloud architecture or solution architecture.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; OR Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
