Full job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in daily food preparation including washing, cutting, and portioning ingredients.
- Support the culinary team in mise en place and plating during service.
- Learn and perform basic cooking techniques under supervision.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and follow food safety and hygiene procedures.
- Assist in receiving and storing supplies according to inventory guidelines.
- Rotate stock using the First-In-First-Out (FIFO) method.
- Participate in kitchen briefings and menu introductions.
- Observe and learn professional culinary practices from senior chefs.
- Uphold teamwork, punctuality, and a positive learning attitude.
