Lifeguard

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Enthusiastically hosts key entertainment and other revenue/non-revenue programs and events, including but not limited to swimming pool events, children events and other events. Provide a positive first impression to every guest through a warm and welcoming individual greeting.
• Use appropriate rescue techniques, if observe swimmers in need of assistance.
• Observe the swimming area for dangerous conditions, unusual or unsafe activities and swimmers who are struggling.
• Promote the rules and regulations of the recreation facilities.
• Be aware of possible situations where guests are not able to safely participate in an activity and inform Recreation Supervisor or Departmental Head.
• Provide assistance to injured guests until the arrival of emergency medical services.
• Wash, mop, and clean the pool deck.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to Recreation Supervisor or Departmental Head and complete safety training and certifications.
• Maintain cleanliness of general pool area and program areas, including picking up trash and collecting towels as needed.
• Spend an appropriate amount of time each day to develop rapport and engage in conversations with guests.
• Inform the guests of the day's activities and explain each event.

Job Requirements

Required Education 所需学历:

• Minimum SPM, vocational training in sports or leisure field or equivalent.

Required Experience所需经验:

• Minimum one (1) year basic recreation experience in hospitality and/or hotel industry.

Required Skills 所需技能:

• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Good time and stress management, organization, planning, customer relations and team player skills.

Personal Attributes个人属性:

• Independent, pleasant, friendly and outgoing personality.
• Physically fit and able to work long hours and various shift hours, including nights, weekends and public holidays.
• Able to stay calm and professional when attending to guests complaints.
• Good grooming standard.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2, RM2,500.00 per month
