Manual Machinist

Job Descriptions:

• Operating and maintaining independently on manual machines such as lathes, milling, and drilling to fabricate parts and components to precise specifications
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to understand job requirements
• Performing routine cleaning & maintenance on machine & tools to ensure optimal performance and safety
• Monitoring the manufacturing process and making necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards
• Collaborating with the production team to identify and resolve any issues or bottlenecks
• Maintaining accurate records of completed work and production data

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Manual Machinist or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
• Strong proficiency in operating manual machine tools such as lathes, mills, and drill presses
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Excellent attention to detail (dimensions) and commitment to maintaining high-quality work
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to make adjustments to the manufacturing process as needed
• Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with the production team
• Knowledge of CNC coding and CAD drawing will be an added advantage
