Key Responsibilities

Scientific Engagement & KOL Development


• Identify, develop, and maintain scientific relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), principal investigators, and medical societies in oncology, hematology, and advanced therapy (cell & gene therapy).


• Serve as the company's scientific bridge between clinical stakeholders and internal teams, fostering peer-to-peer, evidence-based discussions.


• Collect and synthesize clinical insights from HCPs and KOLs to inform Abgentil's R&D priorities, clinical strategy, and commercialization planning.


• Map and engage key institutions involved in CAR-T, TIL, and gene therapy research across Malaysia, India, and Southeast Asia

Medical & Scientific Support


• Provide high-quality, balanced, and accurate scientific information on Abgentil's investigational and commercial products.


• Support clinical development programs by identifying potential clinical trial sites, principal investigators, and centers of excellence.


• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Clinical Operations, Regulatory, Market Access, and Commercial) to ensure scientific alignment and data accuracy.


• Review medical and promotional materials for scientific integrity and regulatory compliance.

Education & Training


• Deliver educational sessions, symposia, and workshops for healthcare professionals (HCPs) on disease awareness, treatment paradigms, and novel cell & gene therapy approaches.


• Facilitate internal training for field teams on mechanism of action, safety, efficacy, and competitor landscape.


• Develop scientific slide decks, Q&A briefs, and data-based tools for use in medical and clinical interactions.

Research & Data Analysis


• Continuously monitor peer-reviewed literature, congress proceedings, and regulatory updates in CAR-T, LVV, CRISPR, and related therapeutic areas.


• Identify opportunities for investigator-initiated trials (IITs) or collaborative studies and assist investigators in protocol design and feasibility.


• Analyze scientific data and generate internal summaries to guide medical strategy and publication planning.

Compliance & Ethical Standards


• Ensure all MSL activities adhere to company SOPs, NPRA/MOH guidelines, and international ethical standards (IFPMA/PhRMA).


• Maintain transparency in scientific exchange, avoiding promotional bias in all communications.


• Participate in compliance training and maintain documentation of scientific engagements.

Requirements

·   At least Bachelor degree in life sciences (in Biomedical Sciences, Molecular Biology, or related field).


• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in medical affairs, clinical operations, or scientific liaison roles within biopharma or healthcare.

Strong knowledge of oncology, hematology, or cell & gene therapy.


• Excellent presentation, communication, and scientific writing skills.


• Ability to translate complex data into clear, concise insights for medical and non medical stakeholders.


• Willingness to travel domestically and regionally.
