Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Head (Senior Manager) of Corporate Development & Transformation located in Petaling Jaya. The role involves d
riving strategic growth and transformation through market intelligence, innovation, and strategic partnerships. This role plays a pivotal part in shaping the company's long-term direction by integrating corporate strategy, business development, and product innovation, aligned with sustainability and digital priorities. Serves as a key enabler of transformation and future readiness across the organization. 

Job Responsibilities

1. Corporate Strategy & Innovation

• Lead research to identify emerging trends, technologies, and market dynamics to inform corporate direction.
• Translate insights into actionable strategies that inform product development and corporate growth.
• Partner with internal teams to drive innovation aligned with sustainability, digital transformation, and strategic business priorities.

2. Product & Solution Development

• Spearhead the development of new products, services, and business models addressing market and customer needs.
• Collaborate with technical, commercial, and operations teams to ensure commercial viability, technical soundness, and ESG compliance.
• Develop go-to-market strategies for new offerings and solutions.

3. Strategic Corporate & Business Development

• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate commercial and strategic partnerships, investments, and new market entry opportunities.
• Support deal structuring, due diligence, execution and stakeholder engagement processes.
• Cultivate relationships with regulators, industry partners, and investors to support long-term business growth.
• Develop go-to-market strategies for new ventures and offerings.

4. Transformational Leadership

• Support business transformation initiatives focused on operational resilience and process excellence.
• Champion cultural change, capability building, and digital enablement across business units.
• Align transformation roadmaps with corporate goals and monitor execution.

5. Program & Project Management

• Lead Cross-functional Strategic Programs From Planning Through Implementation.
• Monitor Project Performance, Manage Risks, And Ensure Timely Delivery Of Outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or related field;MBA is an added advantage
• At least 15 years of proven experience in corporate strategy, product development, and business development.
• Experience in the construction industry, concrete & cement technology.
• Experience in managing cross-functional initiatives and stakeholder engagement.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive business outcomes.
• Familiarity with sustainability, innovation ecosystems, and digital transformation is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of industrial manufacturing, supply chain dynamics, and market forces.
