We are offering an exciting internship opportunity within our Electrical, Instrumentation, and Telecom (EIT) Engineering team. As an intern, you will gain hands-on exposure to real engineering projects and learn directly from experienced engineers. You will have the opportunity to explore the scope of work related to Engineer or Assistant Engineer roles, including design development, engineering analysis, 3D modeling, and project coordination.

Opportunities & Responsibilities

• Support engineers in the design of electrical, instrumentation, and telecom systems.
• Learn to read and prepare engineering diagrams such as single-line diagrams, block diagrams, wiring diagrams, and termination diagrams.
• Gain exposure to 3D and 2D detailed design for cable ladders, supports, deck arrangements, and room layouts.
• Assist in generating MTO/BOM from 3D models.
• Observe circuiting and equipment index development processes.
• Assist in preparing engineering deliverables and design documentation.
• Learn about rules and regulations from Classification Societies, International Conventions, and Flag State requirements.
• Participate in understanding how engineering risks are identified and mitigated.
• Gain exposure to best practices in EIT design, construction standards, and safety requirements.
• Support engineers in coordinating with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Participate in weekly progress meetings and assist in preparing reports.
• Learn how engineers monitor project schedules and engineering progress.
• Observe how conflicts and technical issues are resolved within the project environment.
• Assist in executing tasks assigned by senior engineers and section leads.
• Opportunities to learn and work with industry engineering software tools such as Aveva Marine, Aveva Diagram, AutoCAD, E3D / SI / S3D, other drafting and 3D modeling tools used in EIT design

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Oil & Gas Engineering or any equivalent or relevant field
• Basic knowledge of drafting or 3D modeling is an advantage.
• Interest in EIT system design and engineering analysis.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and good communication skills in English.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
