Job Responsibilities:
Scissor Lift Operations & Coordination
Plan, schedule, and assign scissor lift tasks according to site needs.
Ensure efficient deployment and proper allocation of scissor lifts to designated work areas.
Monitor daily operations to ensure tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Safety & Compliance
Enforce the use of PPE and adherence to site safety regulations.
Conduct daily toolbox briefings focused on elevated work platform safety.
Verify all operators have valid certifications and comply with safe operating procedures (SOPs).
Report unsafe behaviors, near misses, and incidents immediately to the Safety Officer.
Equipment Inspection & Maintenance
Perform pre-operation inspections to confirm scissor lifts are safe and operational.
• Coordinate servicing, repairs, and replacement of defective equipment with the maintenance team.Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, inspection checklists, and service logs.
Team Supervision & Training
Lead, guide, and monitor scissor lift operators to ensure work productivity and quality.
Train new operators on equipment handling, safety practices, and site standards.
Assess operator performance and provide coaching, feedback, or corrective action when necessary.
Documentation & Reportin
Maintain daily reports on operations, operator attendance, and equipment allocation.
Prepare inspection forms, incident reports, and scissor lift usage summaries.
Communicate daily operational updates and challenges to site management.
Job Requirement :
Minimum SPM / equivalent qualification; technical or vocational certification is an added advantage.
At least 3–5 years of experience in construction site operations, with hands on exposure to scissor lift or elevated work platform (EWP) activities.
Valid Scissor Lift/EWP Operator Certification (e.g., IPAF, OSHA, CIDB, or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations, PPE usage, and safe operating procedures (SOPs) for elevated work platforms.Experience in supervising site workers or equipment operators, preferably in a construction or high-risk environment.
Ability to perform equipment inspections, basic troubleshooting, and coordinate maintenance or repairs.
Good communication skills to liaise with site supervisors, safety officers, subcontractors, and operators.
Ability to prepare daily reports, equipment logs, inspection checklists, and operational documentation.
Physically fit to handle on-site supervision, equipment checks, and long hours on the construction site.
Strong leadership, discipline enforcement, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-risk construction environment, including weekends or extended hours when required.
