About the role

We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Clerk to join our dynamic team at CTS SOLUTION ENGINEERING SDN. BHD. in Krubong Melaka. As a Purchasing Clerk, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of materials, goods, and services to support the operations of our manufacturing and logistics business. This is a full-time position that offers opportunities for growth and development within our company.

What you'll be doing

  1. Preparing and processing purchase orders for materials, goods, and services
  2. Liaising with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of ordered items
  3. Maintaining accurate records of all purchasing activities and documentation
  4. Monitoring inventory levels and identifying potential stock shortages
  5. Collaborating with other departments to understand their needs and ensure efficient procurement
  6. Assisting in the negotiation of contracts and agreements with suppliers
  7. Identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience as a Purchasing Clerk or in a similar procurement role, preferably in the manufacturing or logistics industry
  2. Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  3. Proficient in using procurement software and Microsoft Office suite
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  5. Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
  6. Knowledge of purchasing policies, procedures, and regulations
