Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities
- carry out routine maintenance on plastic welding machines (e.g., ultrasonic , hot plate, hot air) as per schedule to ensure equipment reliability.
- Assist in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical or basic electrical issues during machine breakdown.
- Help align fixtures, verify heater and pressure settings and support machine readiness for production.
- Clean and inspect welding jigs /fixtures ; report any wear and misalignment to senior technicians.
- Record PM checklists, downtime logs, and part replacement details accurately and on time.
- Comply with LOTO and workplace safety practices ; maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform overtime work when required by supervisor.
Qualifications
- Minimum Education : SKM or Diploma in (Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic, Electrical and Industrial Maintenance).
- Minimum 2-4 Years hand on in machine maintenance . Exposure to plastic welding machines (e.g. ultrasonic, hot plate, vibration).
- Exposure to PM checklist , basic work instruction.
- Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
- Basic use of Microsoft Excel, Word & able to interface with HMI/control panel display.
