We are looking for a friendly, responsible, and proactive Sales Associate to join our retail team in our food factory outlet. The ideal candidate will assist customers, handle product displays, manage sales transactions, and ensure the highest standard of food hygiene and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service & Sales

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding suitable products.
  • Provide accurate information about product ingredients, packaging, and promotions.
  • Suggest additional products to meet customer needs and achieve sales targets.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally.

2. Retail Operations

  • Ensure product displays are neat, attractive, and accurately priced.
  • Replenish shelves and maintain sufficient stock levels in the retail area.
  • Monitor product expiry dates and ensure proper product rotation (FIFO).
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the retail area at all times.

3. Cashiering & Transactions

  • Operate POS system and process payments accurately (cash, card, or e-wallet).
  • Issue receipts and ensure correct change is given.
  • Perform daily cash reconciliation and prepare sales reports.

4. Stock & Inventory Management

  • Receive, check, and store incoming stock properly.
  • Assist with weekly or monthly stock counts.
  • Inform the supervisor of low-stock or damaged items.

5. Compliance & Safety

  • Follow food safety and hygiene standards according to company and local regulations.
  • Ensure products are stored at correct temperatures and handled safely.

6. Additional Duties

  • Support promotional events or product sampling activities.
  • Participate in product training sessions and staff briefings.
  • Carry out other ad-hoc duties assigned by the supervisor or management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From RM2,800.00 per month
