Working Hours
- Monday - Friday = 8 AM to 5 PM
- Saturday = 8 AM to 1 PM

Job Description
Production Operations
- Execute daily and shift production schedules as planned by management.
- Operate and monitor key process areas — batching, grinding, mixing, pelleting, cooling, screening, and packing.
- Ensure correct formula codes and production sequence to prevent cross-contamination.
- Record hourly output, machine readings, stoppages, and yield losses accurately in the production log.
Equipment & Maintenance
- Perform weekly preventive checks including lubrication, cleaning, and checking of safety guards and moving parts.
- Troubleshoot minor breakdowns promptly and escalate major issues to the Maintenance team.
- Ensure proper line clearance and cleaning between different product batches.
- Assist in monitoring equipment performance trends (e.g., amperage, throughput) and highlight abnormalities early.
Inbound & Outbound Materials Management
- Coordinate and monitor the receiving (inbound) of raw materials and packaging materials.
- Verify materials received against delivery orders and ensure proper storage and FIFO
- Oversee outbound finished goods dispatch to ensure correct quantity, labeling, and timely loading.
- Maintain clear communication between store, logistics, and production to prevent delays or shortages.
Feed Quality & Process Control
- Conduct in-process checks such as pellet fines %, moisture, bulk density, and PDI using available tools.
- Ensure correct sampling and labelling of finished feed and rework materials for traceability.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and feed safety standards in all working areas.
- Support implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), including recordkeeping and continuous improvement in housekeeping.
Manpower & Safety Supervision
- Lead, assign, and supervise production operators and helpers during each shift.
- Conduct pre-shift briefings and coordinate manpower for batching, pelleting, and packing areas.
- Ensure workers follow safe operating procedures and proper use of equipment.
- Manage staff attendance, discipline, and training for multi-skilled operations.
Reporting, Optimization & Continuous Improvement
- Prepare and submit production reports (output, downtime, material loss, manpower, and energy use).
- Assist in identifying root causes of downtime, feed quality variation, or machine efficiency loss.
- Suggest and implement production flow optimization — improve layout, reduce waiting time between processes, and enhance material movement.
- Participate in developing basic GMP structure, including record templates, cleaning schedules, and standard work instructions.
- Support management in establishing production SOPs, equipment checklists, and cleaning schedules to standardize operations.
- Work with management to improve yield, energy efficiency, and process consistency.
Qualifications
- Background of Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Preferred)
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a feed mill, grain processing, food processing, or related manufacturing environment
- Able to perform and assist in minor mechanical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Production Planning and Production Management skills.
- Strong communication and coordination skills with production and maintenance teams.
- Ability to work effectively both in a team and independently.
- Strong sense of responsibility, initiative, and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Experience in the livestock or food industry is a plus.
- A strong understanding of mechanical systems (pellet mill, gearbox, bearings, motors, chain conveyor, blower, and auger systems) is a plus
- Able to speak fluent English or Chinese is a plus
