QAQC Officer

Job Description:

• Establish, implement, and maintain quality management systems and procedures to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Prepare and review QA/QC plans and inspection test plans (ITPs) to ensure all quality control procedures are properly followed.
• Monitor and ensure the timely submission and organization of materials, method statements, and shop drawings.
• Conduct daily on-site inspections and audits to track construction activities and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Manage and coordinate the testing of materials, workmanship, and completed work to verify compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain thorough records of inspections, test results, and non-conformance reports (NCRs), ensuring proper documentation for quality control activities.
• Identify, document, and resolve non-conformance issues, ensuring that corrective and preventive actions are effectively implemented.
• Communicate with clients and stakeholders on quality-related matters and provide regular project updates, ensuring client expectations are met or exceeded.
• Review quality data and performance metrics to pinpoint areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance overall quality standards.

Job Requirements:

• At least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Civil), Building or Construction Management, or Equivalent.
• At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Proficient in MS Office and knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Project.
• Position to be based at Miri, Sarawak

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: RM3, RM4,500.00 per month
