About the role
Autowell (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a talented Mechanical Process Engineer to join our team in our Shah Alam, Selangor location. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in our Electrical/Electronic Engineering operations.
What you will be doing:
- Designing, developing and implementing mechanical systems, fixtures and processes to support manufacturing operations
- Analysing and troubleshooting mechanical issues to improve equipment reliability, efficiency and overall productivity
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical components, tooling and systems
- Monitoring and optimising mechanical equipment, machines and production lines to maintain high performance
- Documenting and reporting on mechanical processes, engineering improvements, projects and initiatives
- Providing technical support and guidance to operators, technicians and production teams on mechanical-related matters
- Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in mechanical engineering, automation and manufacturing technologies, and implementing innovative solutions where relevant
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 0–2 years of experience in a mechanical engineering role, preferably within manufacturing environments (fresh graduates are welcome to apply)
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, machinery, components, and manufacturing processes
- Proficient in using mechanical engineering software and tools (e.g., CAD, SolidWorks, Creo, or similar)
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities
- Commitment to continuous learning and improvement
