Our client is a specialist provider of asset services, custody, payments and treasury services. Founded in 1864, they are the 10th largest bank worldwide and the 5th in North America, as measured by market capitalization. Our client has a processing centre of operational excellence supporting 10 countries across three geographical time zones employing a Global Operating Model to maximise efficiencies across times zones and supports a 24/5 operational capability. The objectives for Malaysia are to enhance the scalability of their global operations, improve service quality via their 'centres of excellence' and to implement/leverage standardised processes globally.

RBC Investor & Treasury Services Malaysia is a processing center of operational excellence supporting 10 countries across three geographical time zones.  Malaysia is a processing hub that supports Custody - Transaction Management; Settlements; NAV Production; Fund Reporting; Shareholder Services; Global Fund Platform Services; Data Service Delivery; Entitlements – income and corporate actions and Reconciliations.  The country employs a Global Operating Model to maximise efficiencies across times zones and supports a 24/5 operational capability.  The objectives for Malaysia are to enhance the scalability of our global operations, improve service quality via our 'centres of excellence' and to implement/leverage standard processes globally.

Working Hours : 3pm-12am / 4pm-1am

What will you do?

• Review and clearance of daily cash and stock reconciliations via Reconciliations Platform.
• E-mail queries are investigated and responded on a timely manner.
• Investigation of all cash and asset breaks and ensure they are assigned to the right departments.
• Collate and maintain required periodic reporting and procedures as required to support the client and/or business needs.
• Collate and maintain statistical information for internal and client distribution.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• Custody and Banking experience in operations / back office.
• Basic/Fair Reconciliations knowledge
• Added Advantage : Understanding in other functions like Entitlements, Cash Management, Transaction Management, Settlements, Fund Accounting
• Flexibility in working hours
• Excellent attention to detail
• Computer literate
• Flexible and able to work in a team to achieve goals
• Excellent communication skills.
