As a Staff Engineer - Plastic Process Industrialization at B. Braun you will play a vital role in….

Your key responsibilities:

• Responsible for determining the core aspects and success criteria for automation solutions in the area of plastic molding and industrialization processes.
• Responsible for timely and task-oriented processing of projects that encompass process engineering tasks, focusing on account investment and production costs. To carry out equipment projects with specific expertise in specialized areas in production (e.g. molds, molding tools, extrusion, injection molding machine). Work closely with the global Center of Competence (CoC) and the related sub-CoC group.
• Drive projects and processes in accordance with the respective valid operating instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Assist in developing suitable strategies to execute governance over the core process within the area of regional responsibility defined for the BMI B Braun Technology Center- Asia Pacific (BTC-AP) in accordance with Operating Model Medical (OMM).
• Responsible for applying global quality requirements related to B. Braun's production sites worldwide. Assist in developing project concepts and feasibility studies on best practice for manufacturing.
• Work closely with the Research and Development (R&D) team in product development and design for manufacturability. Work with other functional teams such as Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement etc. to improve quality and yield of production center.
• For more senior position level, shall provide training concepts and provide recommendations for developing junior project managers in the department.

What you will bring to the team:

• At least 5 experiences in medical device sterilization, process development and validation. At least 3 years of leadership experience and able to motivate, coach, and develop employees, and collaborate with functional leaders and teams. Experience implementing process improvements, automation technologies, knowledge in Industry 4.0 and digital manufacturing. Responsible to develop User's Requirement specification (URS) and Functional Specification (FS).
• Project management experience in working and supporting timely delivery of projects within agreed budgets. Ability to create/manage a vision and think strategically, plan and organize, innovate, analyze complex data and situations, and exercise sound judgment. Experience in managing multiple concurrent research efforts to collect, analyze and present findings to inform decision making. Experience working in a highly regulated environment is required. Experiences success in creating, developing, and launching innovation in the market.
• A proven passion for science and engineering as a business with interest and understanding of the business side of innovation. Strong discovery skills, particularly questioning, observing, and experimenting. Naturally curious and genuinely motivated in learning new things and understanding relationships between teams, people, customers, products, processes, and culture. Able to gather and synthesize information from a variety of people, and then assess how to make improvements in communication or process.
• Ability to clearly assess, articulate, and manage risk with a sense of urgency to meet project/program deliverables, on schedule, and on budget. Must also have the ability to see the big picture, be comfortable escalating issues and concerns to management, prepare contingency plans, and ensure execution of plans through effective organizational awareness. Ability to cast project/program management vision in the context of B.Braun's business model, translating technical strategy to actionable and achievable initiatives. Demonstrates strong business acumen and ability to think and act holistically. Exudes confidence and humility. Possesses noticeable self-awareness. Capable of finding communication gaps and creating bridges that allow the group to work more effectively.
