Summary
The Packer is responsible for supporting daily processing and packaging activities within the CPPC. This hands-on role involves following instructions to process and pack products, maintaining cleanliness and safety in the work area, and assisting with basic operational tasks to ensure smooth workflow and compliance with food safety standards.
Key Expectations
- Follow instructions to process and pack products efficiently.
- Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and quality standards at all times.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and a willingness to learn.
- Support basic equipment care and report any issues to supervisors.
Responsibilities
1. Processing & Packing
- Assist in processing vegetables and other products according to standard operating procedures.
- Pack products as instructed, ensuring they are correctly labeled and sorted.
- Handle products carefully to maintain quality and avoid damage.
Quality & Food Safety
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and quality protocols (e.g., MyGAP, Global GAP, Halal).
- Report any quality or safety concerns to your supervisors immediately.
2. Workplace Maintenance
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Assist in basic cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and workspaces.
- Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to supervisors.
3. Teamwork & Communication
- Work closely with team members and supervisors to achieve daily targets.
- Communicate any operational issues or challenges to supervisors promptly.
4. Training & Improvement
- Participate in on-the-job training and follow instructions for process improvements.
- Suggest simple ideas to improve efficiency or reduce waste when appropriate.
Other Duties
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management to support division goals.
Requirements
- No formal education is required; a secondary school education or equivalent is preferred.
- No prior experience necessary; training will be provided on the job.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in the local language.
- Physical fitness to stand for long periods, work in a cold environment, and the ability to lift heavy items.
- Willingness to work shifts and adapt to changing priorities.
- Willingness to work at Cameron Kinta Highlands, Simpang Pulai Perak.
- Hostel Provided.
Skills
- Basic understanding of hygiene and food safety practices.

- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
