Job Overview

We are looking for a proactive and creative
Programme Coordinator
who can independently manage programme logistics, support content creation, and handle social media communication. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, highly organized, familiar with Canva, and keeps up with current digital trends and apps. This role requires someone who is eager to learn, adaptable, and able to work with minimal supervision.

Key ResponsibilitiesProgramme & Event Coordination

  • Assist in planning, organizing, and executing programmes, workshops, training sessions, and events.
  • Prepare event materials, slides, participant lists, and logistics requirements.
  • Liaise with partners, vendors, and participants to ensure smooth programme flow.
  • Coordinate venue arrangements, equipment setup, and on-site support.
  • Handle registrations, attendance, and post-event follow-up.

Social Media & Content Management

  • Manage, schedule, and monitor content across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
  • Create visually appealing content using Canva (posters, infographics, videos, reels).
  • Track engagement, prepare analytics, and suggest improvements.
  • Ensure branding consistency across all digital materials.

Administrative & Independent Work

  • Work independently to complete assigned tasks without close supervision.
  • Maintain programme documentation, reports, and filing.
  • Assist in preparing proposals, reports, and communication materials.
  • Handle basic data entry, email communication, and scheduling.

Learning & Innovation

  • Stay updated with current technologies, apps, and digital tools relevant to programme management and social media.
  • Continuously learn and improve skills in digital content creation, event management, and youth engagement.
  • Recommend new tools or approaches to improve efficiency and impact.

Requirements Essential

  • Diploma/Degree in Social Sciences, Communications, Education, Psychology, Management, or related field.
  • Experience in programme coordination, events, or social media (fresh graduates encouraged to apply).
  • Proficient in Canva and basic digital design.
  • Strong command of English and Bahasa Melayu (written and spoken).
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Tech-savvy and willing to learn new tools and technologies.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.

Preferred

  • Experience working with youth, NGOs, education programmes, or community projects.
  • Basic knowledge of video editing and content creation.
  • Understanding of current digital/social media trends.
  • Proficiency in using standard Microsoft Office and Google suites and various communication platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills using English.
  • Priority to be given to formally active student leaders and individuals active in community development / volunteers for social cause
  • Passion for student development, engagement, and creating a positive impact on young people community.
