About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented
Cleanroom Engineer
to join our semiconductor manufacturing team. You will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing cleanroom environments to ensure compliance with industry standards and support high-yield production processes.

- Yield Optimization:
Minimize airborne particles and contamination to reduce defects and improve production yield. - Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure adherence to ISO 14644, SEMI standards, and internal audit requirements. - Process Stability:
Maintain critical parameters such as airflow, pressure, and humidity. - Personnel Training:
Implement and enforce cleanroom protocols to prevent contamination. - Cost Efficiency:
Reduce rework and scrap through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement cleanroom layouts and airflow systems per ISO 14644 standards.
- Monitor environmental parameters: particle counts, temperature, humidity, and pressure.
- Identify and mitigate contamination sources from personnel, equipment, and materials.
- Oversee maintenance of HEPA filters, HVAC systems, and cleanroom equipment.
- Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions for contamination events.
- Ensure compliance with SEMI, ISO, and internal quality standards.
- Maintain detailed documentation, including calibration records, audit logs, and environmental monitoring reports.
- Train and supervise staff on cleanroom protocols, gowning procedures, and contamination control.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or related Engineering field.
- 2–5 years of experience in cleanroom operations, preferably in semiconductor manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of cleanroom classifications and ISO standards.
- Proficiency in environmental monitoring tools, HVAC systems, and filtration technologies.
- Familiarity with semiconductor fabrication processes and contamination control.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience with regulatory compliance (SEMI, ISO, GMP) is a plus.
