Aircond Technician

MAIN SCOPE AND GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:

This position is to identify and to perform in all operation maintenance and recording of all activities of air cond system, proper functioning of all a/c and refrigeration equipment in all areas , thus ensuring maximum efficiency, health standards and guest satisfaction. All performances are in compliance with established departmental Standard Operation Prosedure (SOP ).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. To operate and control all A/C equipment (Split Unit , Ceiling Cassert and Air Cond Panel ).

2. To perform Preventive Maintenance for A/C unit for Guest Room and Public area .

3. Install, troubleshoots, repairs and maintains air cond systems.

4. To clean all filters and grills according Preventive Maintenance Plan.

5. To report promptly of all hazardous practices found during works .

6. To undertake daily work orders or maintenance request as assigned by the Maintenance Manager / Maintenance Officer / Maintenance supervisor or room complaint and to ensure that all works are carried out efficiently within the time frame given.

7. Any other technical work required in case of emergency , absence of maintenance staff , leakage , etc according to Maintenance Manager , Maintenance Officer and Maintenance Supervisor instructions.

8. Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain piping system of cold water, hot water, sewage water, hydrant, and gas.

9. Read, log, track and interpret readings from meters, gauges and others measuring device. To maintain a thorough log of each days activities and problems that occur and to ensure this information is passed to other shifts.

10. Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of work area.
