Job Description

Design & Documentation

  • Prepare drawings for design & build proposals and tender submissions.
  • Develop layout plans, material selections, design proposals, and presentations (including 3D visuals using design software and PowerPoint) for loose furniture packages.
  • Produce shop drawings for loose furniture, interior design, and fit-out packages.
  • Work out detailed technical and construction drawings for both loose and fixed furniture items for factory production.

Client & Project Coordination

  • Coordinate with clients and consultants to gather and confirm project requirements.
  • Provide professional input on space planning, design conceptualization, and presentable solutions to sell design ideas.
  • Support and monitor the full project lifecycle—from design inception, planning, and tendering to construction and completion—ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Participate in internal technical discussions with teams such as Quantity Surveyors (QS) and Project Team to align design with implementation requirements.

Digital Design & Virtual Tools

  • Propose and develop e-commerce design concepts using design software.
  • Create, maintain, and optimize digital SKUs for loose furniture items.
  • Support the Virtual Reality (VR) project and generate visual layout libraries for the sales design team using design software.
  • Conduct training sessions for business partners on design tools and software when required.

Site Visits & Implementation

  • Conduct regular site visits for site measurement and verification.
  • Coordinate and follow up on-site works to ensure design implementation.
  • Attend discussions with clients and present design concepts as needed.
  • Ensure proper furniture layout and avoid obstruction of walkways.
  • Work closely with the project team to support smooth execution of interior works

Requirement

  • Minimum 1 year working experience in Interior Design
  • Have own transport
  • Able to read and write Chinese due to need to deal with China company.

Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm , Alternative Saturday (2nd and 4th week only, 9am to 1pm)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3, RM5,000.00 per month
