Work you will do

Deloitte is growing its Strategy, Risk, and Transaction (SR&T) – Regulatory & Financial Risk practice in Southeast Asia. We provide risk transformation, data and modeling solutions focusing on some of the unique and complex issues our clients are facing in finance. Advise our clients how to optimize compliance programs, standardize processes and transform compliance to protect their value across the business, while building great visibility, efficiency and confidence for the future.

You will work alongside our clients to bring a rigorous, evidence based analytical capability to help them solve pressing and complex issues. This includes revealing insight and delivering value through pragmatic and actionable recommendations. You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our clients to understand the forces that are driving change, identifying opportunities and develop solutions across the whole organization. 

The nature of the work we do includes: 

• Lead and support client engagements focused on financial risk, hedging, and treasury risk management.
• Advise on financial risk management strategies, including derivatives and structured solutions.
• Develop and implement risk frameworks and governance models.
• Assess financial reporting implications of risk strategies (e.g., IFRS 9, hedge accounting).
• Drive market risk, credit risk, and liquidity risk assessments.
• Support business development through research, proposals, and thought leadership.
• Mentor and coach junior team members.

Requirements

• 4–5 years of experience in financial risk, treasury, hedging, or accounting in financial services or corporates.
• Strong understanding of financial instruments, derivatives, and risk modelling.
• Experience with risk and treasury systems (e.g., Murex, OpenLink, SAP TRM) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field
