Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise daily manufacturing activities to ensure adherence to production schedules, targets, and quality requirements.
  2. Manage manpower planning, assigning tasks, and ensuring appropriate skill utilization on the line.
  3. Monitor line performance and implement actions to improve productivity, first-pass yield, and on-time delivery.
  4. Coordinate with Quality, Engineering, and Planning departments to address material issues, non-conformities, and process deviations.
  5. Escalate critical issues (equipment failure, material shortage, etc.) to relevant departments.
  6. Ensure compliance with work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  7. Lead response and investigation of quality issues and non-conformances on the line.
  8. Drive Lean Manufacturing practices such as 5S, waste elimination, and standard work.
  9. Support and participate in Kaizen and continuous improvement events.
  10. Support NPI builds and line setups, ensuring operators are trained in new products.
  11. Assist in implementation of engineering changes, including documentation updates and team briefings.
