About the Role:

The Supply Chain function is responsible for overseeing all operational activities, including key deliverables such as resource planning, packaging in line with specifications, and coordinating import and export processes. The role also involves managing warehousing operations, ensuring timely and accurate order distribution, and maintaining inventory levels while driving continuous improvements in transportation and service levels.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Warehouse Supervisor within the Supply Chain function, your primary focus will be to support the global sales network by delivering components and products to both internal and external customers. Additionally, you'll play a key role in inventory management, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to safety and quality standards.

• Warehouse Operations: Oversee the effective receipt, storage, and handling of products, tools, and services, ensuring adherence to ResMed's Quality and Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Goods Handling: Take delivery of goods into the warehouse, ensuring proper sorting, stacking, and storage. You will also oversee the picking and packing of items for dispatch, work order picking, product movement, and transfer processing.
• Inventory Control: Ensure the security and accountability of materials and goods within the warehouse, focusing on effective inventory management and control.
• Operational Strategy: Develop and implement both strategic and operational objectives aligned with the company's goals. Manage and direct employees and resources effectively to help achieve organizational objectives.
• Team Leadership: Lead, guide, and mentor a team of professionals, technicians, and support staff. Provide direct supervision and foster a collaborative environment that encourages continuous improvement.
• Problem Resolution: Regularly interact with team members and peers to resolve operational issues, ensure project deadlines are met, and maintain efficient workflows.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Present technical information and project updates to senior leadership and other functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Required:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related warehousing or supply chain role.
• Strong experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining a focus on quality and efficiency.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to gain cooperation from team members and peers.

• Preferred:

• Previous experience supervising a team in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment.

• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and other supply chain tools.
• Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and best practices for health and safety in a warehousing environment.
