Project Lead

Job Summary:

We are in a search for several Project Leads with background from the EMS Industry 3-10 year's experience in the industry of EMS and BOM´s or related project management

Lexi, a Swedish based company that provides cloud-based Product and BOM Management tool used by Global Manufacturing Corporations, is in the Suntech, Bayan Baru, Penang and is rapidly growing and expanding our business with international customers that includes some of the biggest and best-known electronics OEMs such as ABB, Hitachi, Assa Abloy in Europe, Asia and in America.

The Role:

This is a customer facing position and a challenging and exciting role in Lexi Penang. As a Project Leader, you will play a key part in leading people and ensure a project is carried through. Working closely with Operations Team which includes the Data Management, Quality, CSM and Production team, you are responsible for communication including status reporting, risk management and escalation of issues.

Ideal background is , sourcing and supply of components, program manager, key account , sales with an interest of data analytics, love to speak to customers.

The ideal candidate will take responsible for specific project/projects, generating and developing good project plan, execute and finally ensure the project deliverable are on time with minimal quality findings. What you will do:

• Collects feedback from customers
• Discuss customer's feedback with internal team and decide the priority and complexity of the action points
• Coordinate approved open action points with respective teams
• Meet the predetermined deadlines
• Research related processes/topics
• Documentation - Lead, coordinate, and control all project-related documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance, and on-time delivery.
• Create a new or improve the current process flow
• Create mock-ups for new processes
• Propose new mock-ups and discuss the feasibility of them with the team
• If approved, proceed with the implementation of the system
• Track all open action points
• Trigger closed action points to Content and Support teams
• Conduct user testing
• Based on use case/functionality
• Based on user interface/user experience
• Check automated calculations and functions

Knowledge / Skills and Competencies:

• Diploma/ Degree level with 3-10 years' experience in Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) projects management, component engineering, quality, or supply chain management / procurement / sourcing positions
• Knowledge in BOM Management
• Good knowledge of electronics manufacturing industry supply chains and manufacturing operations, either in an EMS or OEM environment
• Very strong PC skills, especially in Excel and working with databases
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, oral and written, additional knowledge in foreign language is a plus
• Great leadership and interpersonal skills, able to develop productive relationships with colleagues, customers and associates by keeping with the Lexi culture that values commitment to delivering to our customers' expectations, developing our people, critical thinking, problem solving, innovation and continuous improvement
• Ability to work from low to high, low being day-to-day communications internally and high being all levels with our global customers
• Strong time management and organizational skills with an attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities effectively and deliver results in a timely manner
• Good presentation, database management and computer skills especially in Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, not afraid of computers
