Country Director – Malaysia
, you'll provide strategic and operational leadership to strengthen and grow the ministry in the country.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead with Vision:
    Guide ODBM's Malaysia ministry to support global goals and ensure compliance with local and organizational standards.
  • Empower People:
    Cultivate a Christ-centered, collaborative culture that promotes both spiritual and professional growth.
  • Steward Resources:
    Oversee daily operations, budgets, and resources with integrity and excellence.
  • Advance Ministry Projects:
    Support the creation of local content and digital strategies that reflect ODBM's mission and values.
  • Collaborate Regionally:
    Communicate regularly with the AVP (Assistant Vice President) and Regional Functional Directors addressing key operational and strategic issues.

What You Bring:

  • Faith & Calling:
    A mature relationship with Jesus Christ and alignment with ODBM's Statement of Faith.
  • Leadership Experience:
    Proven success leading teams and managing complex operations, ideally in ministry or nonprofit settings.
  • Strong Management Skills:
    Ability to prioritize, make sound decisions, and lead across cultures.
  • People & Communication:
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a heart for mentorship and unity.
  • Language & Cultural Agility: Fluency in English, Chinese, and Malay; ability to engage effectively across cultures.
  • Mobility: Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as ministry needs arise.
