Intern for Reliability CBM – SBA/Upstream

As an intern in the Reliability CBM team, you will be an integral part of our operations in Petronas Carigali Sabah (PCSB-SBA). This is a unique opportunity to gain practical experience and contribute to the success of our upstream operations. You will work closely with our experienced professionals, learning about the latest technologies and best practices in reliability engineering.

• Assist in the development and implementation of reliability strategies and condition-based monitoring programs for upstream assets.
• Support the team in data collection, analysis, and reporting, ensuring accurate and timely information.
• Conduct equipment inspections and assessments, identifying potential issues and recommending improvements.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to optimize maintenance schedules and reduce equipment downtime.
• Assist in root cause analysis of equipment failures and develop preventive measures.
• Help maintain and update reliability databases and ensure data integrity.
• Participate in reliability improvement projects and contribute to continuous process enhancement.
• Prepare and present reliability reports and findings to the team and stakeholders.
• Engage in knowledge sharing and continuous learning to stay updated with industry trends.

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, preferably with a focus on Mechanical, Electrical, or Reliability Engineering.
• Strong academic background with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of reliability engineering principles and condition-based monitoring techniques is preferred.
• Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, with experience in using relevant software tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry practices.
• A passion for the energy industry and a desire to contribute to the field of reliability engineering.
