Key responsibilities
Responsible for collecting and sampling of raw materials and in-process samples.
Surface area and whiteness determination of ground white cement/blended cement/tile cement from cement mill (with immediate feedback to cement miller for SA control).
Free lime determination of clinker & white cement when XRD is out of order.
Sieve analysis of raw mix, kiln feed, petcoke and ground cement.
Record all tests results in appropriate files and noting all relevant stoppages and breakdowns.
To notify immediately to Chemist or Lab supervisor when encounter abnormality during testing.
To maintain good housekeeping within laboratory.
To perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum SPM qualification
- Basic knowledge of laboratory testing procedures and safety practices.
- Able to perform sample preparation, data recording and reporting of test results.
- Detail-oriented, responsible and able to work with minimal supervision.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM1, RM1,800.00 per month
