We're looking for a talented SAP Functional Consultant (FICO) to join our team on an exciting contract opportunity based in Malaysia.

Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of project success by ensuring smooth delivery of IT and business requirements.
  • Work across SAP Fixed Assets, Capex, and Contract Lease Management processes.
  • Develop and enhance To-Be processes based on user and business requirements.
  • Create and validate functional specifications, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project objectives.
  • Configure and document system settings following project and organizational standards.
  • Identify and resolve configuration conflicts across SAP environments and related systems.
  • Support testing activities, including test script creation and environment setup.
  • Contribute to data migration, performance testing, and cut-over activities.
  • Bring valuable site-specific expertise and system knowledge to the project team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Information Systems, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • 8+ years of experience working with SAP, particularly in the FICO module.
  • Solid grasp of Finance Controlling, Project Costing, and Material Ledger processes and cross-functional integration.
  • Familiar with Solution Manager (SolMan) ALM methodologies.
  • Excellent conceptual thinking - able to simplify complex business challenges into clear, actionable solutions.
  • Proven communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at multiple levels.
  • Comfortable working in agile environments and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for project delivery.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is an added advantage.
