Key Responsibilities :

  • Supervise all sheet metal fabrication processes including laser cutting, CNC turret punching, press brake forming, welding, assembly, and painting.
  • Oversee the setup, programming, and operation of laser cutting machines (e.g., fiber or CO₂ lasers) to ensure precision and efficiency.
  • Manage and monitor CNC turret punching operations, ensuring correct tooling and material handling.
  • Lead the painting department activities, including surface prep, spray painting, and curing.
  • Assign work schedules and balance workloads across departments to meet production targets and delivery timelines.
  • Ensure proper machine maintenance and safe equipment operation in all areas.
  • Train team members on safe and efficient use of laser, punching, assembly, core and painting equipment.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, work orders, and production plans to guide operations.
  • Coordinate with the quality control team to enforce quality standards and minimize rework or defects.
  • Work with inventory and procurement to ensure materials and consumables are available and stocked.
  • Maintain accurate records of production output, equipment usage, downtime, and personnel performance.
  • Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement strategies to reduce waste and improve productivity.

Requirements :

  • High school diploma , Technical diploma in manufacturing, Mechanical Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • More than 3 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication and supervisory roles.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of laser cutting systems, CNC turret punch presses, Bending and fabrication equipment.
  • Experience managing or overseeing industrial painting processes and departments.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and material specifications.
  • Solid understanding of safety regulations, quality control standards, and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems and production planning software is an added advantage.
