Responsibilities
  • Monitor sell-through rates and other performance related metrics.
  • Develop actionable strategies towards seasonal assortment requirements based on market insights.
  • Work with suppliers to ensure quality and accuracy of product development.
  • Review competition to gather market intelligence, including price points, marketing and promotions.
  • Research industry and consumer trends to anticipate demand and changes in buying patterns.
  • Plan and monitor merchandising flow, replenishment, stock allocation, internal store transfers and consolidation to physical and online stores / marketplaces.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure optimisation of product display, description and sales pitches.
  • Collaborate with the visual merchandising and marketing team to create impactful stories across communication channels.
  • Develop seasonal sales & promotions, and identify markdown margins to ensure healthy inventory capacity.
Requirements
  • SPM or certificate in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain, or any related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of merchandising experience (experience within the footwear / fashion industry is preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
  • Willing to work in Bandar Sunway, Subang Jaya.
