Position : Senior R&D Engineer

Salary : RM 10,000 – RM 16,000

Working Hours : Mon – Fri (10am – 7pm)

Location : Tropicana Garden

Position Overview:

We are looking for a Senior R&D Engineer to drive innovation, solve complex technical challenges, and push the boundaries of gaming technology. You will lead research, prototype new features, evaluate emerging technologies, and work closely with game designers, engineers to deliver next-generation gaming experiences.

Job Description

· Lead R&D initiatives to explore new technologies, tools, and pipelines that enhance game development and player experience.

· Research, design, and develop prototypes for new gameplay systems, AI technologies, graphics features, or backend solutions.

· Evaluate and implement advanced technologies such as machine learning, procedural generation, physics simulations, real-time rendering, or game engine improvements.

· Analyze technical problems and propose innovative, scalable solutions.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Design, Engineering, Art, QA) to integrate R&D findings into production pipelines.

· Optimize system performance, memory usage, and game engine workflows.

· Document research outcomes, best practices, and technical specifications.

· Mentor junior engineers and contribute to long-term technical roadmap planning.

· Stay updated on industry trends, gaming technologies, and emerging tools.

Requirements

· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Game Development, or related field.

· 5+ years of experience in game development, R&D engineering, or advanced technical roles.

· Strong proficiency in C++, C#, or other industry-relevant programming languages.

· Experience with major game engines.

· Solid understanding of computer graphics, game physics, AI systems, or networking.

· Ability to build prototypes rapidly and iterate on ideas.

· Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to RM16,000.00 per month
