Our client Repute Construction Sdn Bhd is seeking a Site Safety Supervisor (Yellow Book / Construction) to join their team

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Safety & Health Officer to oversee site safety in a construction environment. You will be responsible for preparing and implementing safety plans, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. This role offers a chance to make a significant impact on site safety and contribute to a safer working environment.

What you'll be doing?
  • Oversee site safety: Ensure the safety of the construction site by implementing safety plans and conducting inspections.
  • Prepare safety plans: Develop and implement comprehensive safety plans for construction projects.
  • Conduct inspections: Perform daily inspections of the construction site to ensure compliance with safety plans.
  • Prepare reports: Create weekly safety inspection and status reports to keep track of safety measures.
  • Conduct toolbox meetings: Lead safety toolbox meetings with subcontractors and workers to promote safety awareness.
  • Inspect equipment: Monitor the usage of machinery, tools, fire-fighting equipment, first-aid kits, and PPE on-site.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors: Work with subcontractors to verify their safety procedures and ensure compliance.
  • Liaison with authorities: Communicate with OSHA and relevant authorities to ensure compliance with safety and health requirements.
  • Rectify unsafe practices: Identify and rectify any unsafe practices on-site to maintain a safe working environment.
Who are they looking for?
  • Registered Safety Officer: Must have a valid Yellow Book and be registered with DOSH/NIOSH/JKKP.
  • Construction experience: Minimum of 2 years of working experience in a construction site is required.
