Job Summary

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for end-to-end delivery of multiple web and mobile application projects, collaborating closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors. The role requires overseeing planning, execution, coordination, and tracking to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. It also involves managing multi-release delivery, driving cross-department collaboration, and aligning project execution with the enterprise architecture roadmap. Success in this position demands a seasoned leader with strong technical understanding, exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to drive outcomes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities and Duties·

• Lead end-to-end IT projects (web/mobile applications) from initiation to deployment within scope, budget, and timelines
• Manage Agile delivery using Scrum or hybrid methodologies; facilitate sprint ceremonies and ensure continuous improvement
• Engage stakeholders, senior management, and project sponsors to align expectations and drive business outcomes
• Manage project budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning across multiple teams
• Coordinate with vendors, outsourcing partners, and service providers to ensure timely delivery of solutions
• Identify, track, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies; escalate when necessary to avoid delays
• Oversee technical integration tasks related to APIs, microservices, and containerized architectures
• Support the delivery of digital web/mobile solutions using technologies such as Java, AngularJS, VueJS, and Cordova
• Monitor application performance and user engagement using tools like Firebase, Google Analytics, and Dynatrace
• Ensure adherence to IT security standards and audit compliance frameworks such as OWASP and CMMI
• Use project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, MS Project) for planning, tracking, and reporting
• Lead and motivate both direct and matrixed project teams; resolve conflicts and foster collaboration
• Manage regional or multi-country project implementations and ensure alignment with local requirements
• Prepare and present project updates, reports, and dashboards to senior leadership and committees
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and risk management standards relevant to banking/insurance projects

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in delivering large-scale IT projects in web/mobile application environments
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies; Certified PMP and/or Scrum Master (CSM) preferred
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including senior management interaction
• Proficiency in budgeting, financial forecasting, and multi-workstream resource allocation
• Experience managing vendors, outsourced teams, and third-party service providers
• Strong risk, issue, and dependency management capabilities
• Understanding of modern application architecture: APIs, microservices, and containerization
• Exposure to web/mobile technologies (Java, AngularJS, VueJS, Cordova)
• Familiarity with analytics and monitoring tools (Firebase, Google Analytics, Dynatrace)
• Knowledge of IT security and audit standards (OWASP, CMMI)
• Skilled with project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and MS Project
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities in managing diverse, cross-functional teams
• Experience working on multi-country or regional digital transformation initiatives
• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and reporting abilities
• Understanding of regulatory, compliance, and risk frameworks in Banking/Insurance domains
