Resident Architect

Job Description :

1. Lead the architectural site staff to monitor, supervise & coordination of site inspection team duties on a day-to-day basis

2. Performing Quality Control Checks, In-process & Final Inspections, with weekly reporting and documentation.

3. Ensuring architectural works are executed in accordance with contract documents, shop drawing, compliance with local building codes, regulations and safety standards. Should be able to address and resolve any compliance-related issues during construction.

4. Monitor construction/material application works are in accordance to approved method statements.

5. Reporting any non-conformance or site issues promptly, and issuing NCRs when required.

6. Liaise and coordinate with Client / Site Staff / Architect design team to resolve technical and/or interfacing issues with other Consultants, Contractors, other disciplines, and authorities.

7. Report any critical issues & provide technical solutions to design and construction challenges that arise on-site. Propose adjustments to designs or methods as needed to suit project conditions while maintaining design intent.

8. Maintain accurate records of site inspections, progress reports, and any design changes. To carry out control of documents and records at site office as per procedures.

9. To attend all Project Site Progress meetings & Site walk

10. To assist in shop drawing approval, when required

11. Weekly reporting to design architect on site walk and site related activities.

Requirement :

1. A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Architecture. Master's degree is preferred.

2. At least 5 years of on-site project execution experience in Data Center, warehouse, factory, or industrial projects.

3. Familiarity with QLASSIC or CONQUAS standards.

4. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Autodesk Construction Cloud, powerpoint, and excel.

5. Strong organizational and scheduling skills.

6. Strong supervision and interpersonal skills.

7. Able to work in Elmina Business Park, Sungai Buloh, Selangor
