Application Engineer

As an Applications Engineer at Aemulus, you won't just be another link in the process—you'll be one of the key players helping shape it. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to bring Aemulus test systems to life, guiding projects from inception to completion. Your role bridges technical expertise, customer engagement, and innovation, making you central to delivering high-performance solutions that meet real-world demands.

Responsibilities

• Provide
  technical engineering support
  during both
  pre-sales and post-sales
  phases, assisting Aemulus Sales & Marketing teams and direct customer engagements.
• Work with customers on
  device test development
  , from early planning to production test interfacing, including
  hardware (DUT/test boards)
  and
  software
  solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues by identifying
  root causes
  and delivering
  effective solutions or workarounds
  .
• Collaborate with internal
  R&D, Sales, and Marketing
  teams to align current and future product features with market and customer needs.
• Travel to
  customer sites
  for
  system installation
  ,
  test commissioning
  , and on-site support.
• Provide
  technical feedback
  to the design team to contribute to product enhancements and
  future roadmap planning
  .
• Develop
  demo kits
  , including sales tools, development programs, and
  interactive presentations
  to showcase capabilities.
• Create and maintain
  technical collaterals
  : datasheets, application notes, user guides, training manuals, and demonstration materials.
• Take ownership—not just executing tasks, but actively shaping outcomes and influencing direction.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in
  Electrical/Electronic Engineering
  or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of relevant working experience
  in a related field (semiconductor test, hardware/software engineering, applications engineering, etc.).
• 4 years and above
  of relevant working experience may apply for a
  Senior Applications Engineer
  role.
• Solid experience with
  digital and analog circuits/systems
  .
• Proficiency in programming languages such as
  C, C#, or C++
  .
• Strong
  debugging and problem-solving
  skills with the ability to
  drive issues to closure
  .
• Experience in
  hardware/board-level design
  is a plus.
• Exposure to the
  semiconductor manufacturing and test environment
  is advantageous.
• Fluent in
  English
  (written and verbal)
• Fluent in Mandarin (spoken and written) is essential
  for communication with customers, especially in China/Taiwan regions.
• Self-motivated, proactive
  , and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel and
  possess own transport
  .
