We're looking for an Admin & Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic logistics team If you're organized, responsible, and enjoy working with both paperwork and people, this is the perfect role for you.

What You'll Do:

Administrative Duties:

  • Conduct regular inventory checks for stationery and printed materials, ensuring no shortages.
  • Maintain and update administrative records on time and submit reports according to deadlines.
  • Keep and organize employee training records and related documents.
  • Prepare and issue Purchase Requisition Forms (PRF) or Purchase Orders (PO) and ensure all items received are in good condition.
  • Monitor company equipment (e.g., computers), arrange for repairs or servicing when necessary to support daily operations.
  • Distribute documents according to the Document Distribution List and ensure proper acknowledgement.
  • Update and amend documents upon receiving an approved Document Change Notice (DNC).
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by your superior.

Accounting Duties:

  • Process and arrange payments for local and overseas supplier invoices, ensuring they're checked and approved by authorized personnel.
  • Update all invoices and payments into the Accounts Payable (Yunas) system.
  • Record payments received from customers into the Accounts Receivable (Yunas) system.
  • Update the General Ledger, including payment vouchers, receipts, and supporting journals.
  • Ensure all accounting closing deadlines are met.
  • Perform monthly reconciliation of Sub-Ledger vs. General Ledger and Bank Statements vs. Bank Book.
  • Ensure all cheques issued to the Operations Department are supported with proper documents.
  • Follow up with customers on overdue outstanding accounts.

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum SPM/DIPLOMA/DEGREE qualification or at least 1 year of working experience (in administration or accounts).
  • Fresh grads welcome
  • Computer literate and comfortable using accounting or office software.
  • Good communication skills in both English and Malay (written & spoken).
  • Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
