Responsibility

• Partner with the CEO and leadership team to design and implement operational strategies that support the company's vision and meet production goals in Malaysia.
• Continuously review, refine, and optimize operational workflows to enhance efficiency and overall performance.
• Oversee major operational functions, including production, logistics, supply chain, customer service, and key cross-functional units such as procurement, quality, equipment, and R&D.
• Ensure seamless coordination and smooth operational flow across all departments.
• Lead, mentor, and develop department heads to foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor operational effectiveness.
• Provide timely operational updates and performance reports to the CEO and board of directors.
• Work closely with the finance team on budgeting, cost management, resource allocation, and cost-reduction initiatives to increase productivity and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies.
• Oversee safety, environmental protection, and risk-management activities.
• Drive digital transformation and the adoption of new technologies to improve operational efficiency.
• Support new product development processes, including pilot trials and preparation for mass production.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Science/Electrical/Engineering field; a Master's degree is an advantage.
• At least 5 years of experience in senior leadership roles (such as General Manager, COO, or CEO), ideally within the manufacturing or processing sector.
• Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and driving operational excellence.
• Strong leadership capabilities with proven experience in people and performance management.
• Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with operational tools, ERP platforms, and performance management systems.
