Role Overview

We're looking for a Full Stack Developer with solid experience in Python and web technologies to join our on-site team in Petaling Jaya. The ideal candidate is passionate about building clean, efficient, and high-performing systems — from backend APIs to front-end dashboards — and thrives in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications end-to-end.
  • Build robust backend APIs using FastAPI and manage ORM with SQLAlchemy.
  • Deploy, optimize, and maintain applications using Uvicorn.
  • Develop front-end pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Jinja2, and Tailwind CSS.
  • Work with databases — SQLite (development) and PostgreSQL (production).
  • Integrate REST APIs and manage data pipelines between backend and front-end systems.
  • Ensure code quality, security, and performance through best development practices.
  • Collaborate with the design, AI, and business teams to translate ideas into functional products.
  • Debug, test, and document features to ensure seamless deployment and maintenance.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in full stack web development.
  • Strong knowledge of Python, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, and Uvicorn.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Jinja2 templating.
  • Experience using Tailwind CSS for modern, responsive UI design.
  • Hands-on experience with SQLite and PostgreSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with Git, RESTful APIs, and version control workflows.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, write clean code, and deliver under tight deadlines.

Nice to Have

  • Experience deploying apps on Docker, AWS, or DigitalOcean.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and API authentication (OAuth2/JWT).
  • Exposure to AI, automation, or data visualization tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3, RM4,500.00 per month
