About the role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Tutor to join our team at SD Plus Education in Miri, Sarawak. As a part-time Tutor, you will play a crucial role in supporting and guiding preschool/primary/secondary school students to reach their full academic potential.
What you'll be doing
- Delivering engaging and interactive lessons to small groups of secondary school students
- Identifying individual learning needs and adapting your teaching approach accordingly
- Providing personalised academic support and guidance to help students improve their performance
- Monitoring student progress and providing regular feedback to students and their families
- Collaborating with our team of educators to develop effective teaching strategies and resources
- Maintaining a positive and encouraging learning environment that fosters student confidence and success
What we're looking for
- At least have teaching experience
- A relevant teaching qualification or degree in a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with and motivate students
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for helping students reach their full potential
- Proficiency in both English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Proficiency in Chinese is an added advantage
