Curtain Sider Driver

Job Descriptions

• Operate curtain sider lorries safely and efficiently, adhering to all road traffic laws and company policies.
• Transport goods to and from the warehouse, distribution centers, and customer locations as required.
• Ensure the secure loading and unloading of goods, often assisting warehouse staff to ensure safe handling of cargo.
• Inspect the vehicle daily before and after trips, reporting any defects or maintenance issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and paperwork, including delivery notes and vehicle inspection reports.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, dispatchers, and customers to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, including proper securing of loads.

Requirement

• Valid commercial driving license appropriate for curtain sider lorries
• Proven experience as a lorry/truck driver, preferably with curtain sider vehicles.
• Good knowledge of local and regional routes.
• Strong understanding of load securing techniques and safety regulations.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• Physically fit to handle loading/unloading tasks as needed.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings or late evenings if required.
