Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Public Relations (PR) Executive to enhance the company's reputation across global and regional markets. The role will be responsible for developing, executing, and managing PR strategies that align with the company's brand, business objectives, and regulatory requirements. This role requires strong media relations, financial writing capabilities, and the ability to execute with professionalism and impact.

Responsibilities

  • Execute PR strategies that align with EBC's vision, ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets and macroeconomics.
  • Act as media liaison, maintain strong relationships with media contacts to earn media coverage.
  • Ensure all PR materials and communications adhere to EBC's guidelines.
  • Amplify PR effectiveness on other channels (eg social media).
  • Support PR strategy and meet expected number of pitches, releases for the Group or in targeted markets.
  • Assist crisis communications efforts as required.
  • Assist with internal communication, employee engagement initiatives, and external events as required.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of progressive experience in PR, corporate communications, or media, preferably within financial services, fintech, or regulated industries.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and multicultural environment.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English mandatory; other languages a plus).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM5, RM6,500.00 per month
