About the role

Techcasys Sdn Bhd, a leading technology company, is seeking a talented Web Designer Executive to join our dynamic team. This full-time role will be based in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, and will play a crucial part in the design and development of our digital experiences.

What you'll be doing

  • Design and develop visually appealing, user-friendly websites and web applications
  • Create responsive designs that optimise the user experience across different devices and platforms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and project managers, to bring design concepts to life
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in web design and user experience
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our design processes and standards
  • Provide creative and technical support to the broader design and development teams

What we're looking for

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in web design, preferably within a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Proficient in using design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, or Sketch
  • Strong understanding of responsive design, user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) principles
  • Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with the ability to translate design concepts into functional prototypes
  • Keen eye for detail and a passion for creating visually stunning and intuitive digital experiences
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate design decisions effectively
  • Familiarity with web development frameworks and content management systems (CMS) is a plus
