Key ResponsibilitiesFood Preparation
- Assist in preparing ingredients (cutting, peeling, marinating, measuring).
- Help in basic cooking tasks such as boiling, frying, grilling, and baking.
- Follow recipes and instructions from senior chefs.
- Ensure workstations are clean, organized, and properly stocked.
- Maintain kitchen equipment and report any issues to supervisors.
- Assist in receiving, checking, and storing food supplies.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Ensure proper storage and labeling of ingredients.
- Minimize food wastage and follow portion control guidelines.
- Support Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth service.
- Attend training sessions and contribute to a positive kitchen environment.
- Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and take instructions.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Preferably with relevant culinary certification (optional).
