Key Responsibilities

  • Administer routine jobs such as order, receive, organize & rearrange goods in the Warehouse from supplier as well as retrieve & issue from warehouse to GENCO, DISTCO & NURES personnel (end users).
  • Maintain records, prepare reports, proper filing and prepare any necessary information or documentation as and when required.
  • Manage loading, unloading & delivery of goods. Operate material handling equipment (MHE) such as forklift, reach truck, pallet jack & etc., as well as necessary tools in managing the warehouse.
  • Liaise with the end-user, vendors, and the forwarding agent to ensure on-time delivery schedule and to address any delay issues for resolutions.
  • Manage daily stock take exercise for selected items, and annual stock take or any audit exercise.
  • Raise purchase requisition, source for vendors and quotations for stock items as and when required.
  • Ensure warehouse operations are executed in compliance with the Warehouse procedure, Procurement procedure, Housekeeping, Safety and health, Quality, Company policies, local authorities' requirements and other related operational procedures.
  • Monitor records of inventories (inbound & outbound) are up to date daily (manual logbook and system).
  • To perform any other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned by Superiors.

Qualification and Requirements

Education and Certifications:

  • Minimum SPM holder. Have valid driving license (B2, D).

Experience:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in warehouse & logistics operation, preferably in power industry.
  • Experience in handling MHE (forklift, reach truck & etc.)
  • Computer literate (basic Excel & Word). Experience using any ERP system is an added advantage.
  • Attention to details, able to work under pressure & willing to work extra hours whenever required.
