About the role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Conveyancing Clerk to join our growing team at WONG-CHOOI & MOHD NOR (BUKIT MERTAJAM). As a Conveyancing Clerk, you will be responsible for providing administrative and legal support to our conveyancing team, ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of property transactions. This full-time role is based in our Bukit Mertajam office in Penang.

What you'll be doing

  1. Preparing and processing conveyancing documents, including sales and purchase agreements, title deeds, and other legal instruments
  2. Liaising with clients, real estate agents, and other stakeholders to gather and verify required information
  3. Conducting property searches and title investigations
  4. Assisting with the coordination and completion of property transactions
  5. Maintaining detailed records and client files to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
  6. Providing administrative support to the conveyancing team as needed

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2 years of experience in a conveyancing or legal administrative role
  2. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  3. Proficient in using legal software and databases
  4. Excellent communication and client service skills
  5. Ability to work well in a team and under pressure to meet deadlines
  6. Knowledge of property law and conveyancing procedures
