1. JOB BRIEF

The Field Conductor is responsible for supervising mandurs and field workers to ensure daily planting and maintenance activities run smoothly. This role focuses on monitoring work quality, coordinating manpower, and supporting field operations. The ideal candidate is responsible, attentive to detail, and able to guide workers while maintaining good communication with management.

2. RESPONSIBILITIES, AUTHORITIES AND DUTIES

  • Supervise mandurs and general workers during daily planting, maintenance, and field operations.
  • Plan, assign, and monitor tasks to ensure work is carried out according to schedule.
  • Check the quality of field work (planting, weeding, upkeep, harvesting) and correct any mistakes immediately.
  • Ensure all workers follow safety rules and company SOPs.
  • Identify field issues (pest, disease, water supply, plant health, labour issues) and report them to management promptly.
  • Keep simple field records such as worker attendance, task progress, and field condition updates.
  • Assist the manager with field inspections and improvement plans.
  • Perform any other operational tasks assigned by superiors from time to time.

3. QUALIFICATIONS, REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

  • Minimum SPM with at least 1–2 years of plantation/agriculture experience; or Diploma in agriculture or related field is an advantage.
  • Able to lead and guide mandurs and workers effectively.
  • Organized, proactive, responsible, and able to work independently.
  • Good communication skills and a positive working attitude.
  • Willing to stay and work in a remote plantation environment (accommodation provided).
  • Must possess a valid driving license.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2, RM3,500.00 per month
