  • The senior data engineer will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable and reliable data infrastructure to support enterprise-wide analytics and business intelligence initiatives.
  • This role leads junior data engineer in designing and implementing efficient data pipelines, integrating diverse data sources, and ensuring high standards of data quality, security, and governance.
  • Working closely with data analysts and it teams, the senior data engineer translate bi requirements into robust, scalable technical solutions that optimize data accessibility and usability. the role involves driving continuous improvement of data workflows, data platform performance, and technology adoption to meet evolving organizational needs.
  • key duties include setting technical standards and following best practices for the data engineering team, overseeing pipeline reliability and data integrity, mentoring and developing talent, and fostering cross-functional collaboration.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Designing and implementing efficient ETL/ELT workflows to ingest, clean, transform, and store data.
  • Ensuring data quality, integrity, security, and compliance across data pipelines and storage systems.
  • Following the data design principles and architecture from Data Architect; ensure architecture and technologies implemented are aligned to company standards.
  • Setting data engineering best practices, coding standards, and continuously optimizing engineering processes for the data engineering team.
  • Leading the adoption of modern data technologies and methodologies including batch, real-time streaming, big data tools, and cloud platforms.
  • Collaborating closely with data analysts and IT teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable datasets.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of proven experiences in data engineering role, or related roles.
  • Technical Expert knowledge of data engineering, data modeling, data Warehousing, data Lakehouse and data governance concepts with proven experiences.
  • Proven track record managing large-scale data/BI projects.
  • Strong data engineering mindset, able to manage complexity, good problem-solving skills and continuous self-improvement.Strong interpersonal skills, ability to liaise with all levels of resources between internal and external teams.
  • Proactive and able to drive changes.
  • Knowledge of cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), machine learning or advanced analytics is a must.
