Job DescriptionMinimum 1 years experience in a similar draftsman role, preferably in the fire fighting system industry. Certificate in drafting or a related field is often required. The ability to create technical drawings for fire detection and protection systems, including fire hydrant, sprinkler and fire alarm systems. This includes knowing how to interpret building layouts and create installation details. The ability to design and draft various systems including fire hydrant, sprinkler and fire alarm systems. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is often required. A strong command of CAD software, such as AutoCAD. Strong time management skills to meet deadlines.
